What’s the next best thing to being an actual millionaire? Telling a millionaire how to spend their money of course!
Hush Hush, the Amazon for millionaires as it is often referred to, have launched a new hunt for potential advisors to millionaires. The job is called being a ‘Millionaire Concierge’. This service will give newly-made millionaires guidance on how to look after their money. It’s aimed at people suddenly raking in money through inheritance, sudden fame, or even winning the lottery.
The job of the concierge will be to ‘hand-hold’ newly made millionaires through the initial scramble when someone comes into extensive riches. Each concierge will need to be on-call to help millionaires with whatever may arise after they gain access to their new-found wealth.
This could range from advising on money matters to how much to spend on a house or car. They will also offer support when dealing with freeloaders and gold diggers, and give general guidance on how to adjust to such a big lifestyle change.
So basically it will be your job to tell your millionaire which Ferrari to buy, or which yacht to set sail in.
Well, firstly you’ll need to enjoy spending money and know how to do it well! A lot of us are good at the former, but not a lot are skilled in the latter…
If you have a background in financial advice and / or luxury personal shopping, you could be the perfect candidate!
You’ll need to go through a rigorous selection process. If you’re successful you will undertake training that will teach you all the key skills for the job.
Aaron Harpin, HushHush.com founder said,
“Too often we’ve seen people who come into extreme wealth waste it, and sometimes even find themselves in a worse position than they were before they earned their money. However, we’re hoping that with our service launch this won’t happen again.”
