Leon Macfayden

In 2003, Leon became a cop. Guarding dead bodies and removing children from dangerous homes was a typical day of work, and his mental health began to slide. What Leon wasn't prepared for was how society sometimes treats people with mental health challenges differently. The "othering" created a sense of isolation for years and worsened his symptoms. Leon was forced to medically retire and told he was 100% disabled for the rest of my life with post-traumatic stress disorder.
